M2MMA Inc. (OTCBB:MMAZ)
DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES, March 4, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — M2MMA Inc. today announced the appointment of Michael Mazzulli to its Advisory Board, adding one of the most respected regulatory figures in combat sports as the company advances M2Intel, its commission-aligned platform built to improve athlete safety and commission oversight across sanctioned competition.
Mazzulli served as President of the Association of Boxing Commissions from 2015 through 2025 and currently serves as Director of the Mohegan Tribe Department of Athletic Regulation. Over the course of his career, he has helped strengthen regulatory oversight in boxing and mixed martial arts in the United States, including work on the continued development of the Unified Rules of MMA, which govern major promotions today.
His appointment comes at an important time for M2MMA, as the company expands M2Intel, a platform designed to operate within established commission structures rather than outside them. The system brings together physician-verified medical records, impact monitoring, neurological trend data, weight management information, clearance workflows, and athlete status tracking in a single, secure environment built for sanctioned events.
The AI layer inside M2Intel is central to the platform’s value. In combat sports, critical decisions are still often made from incomplete records, manual workflows, or disconnected data. M2Intel is being developed to convert those inputs into science-based guidance that stakeholders can use when decisions matter most. By identifying patterns, surfacing risk signals, and organizing medical and performance information in a format that supports review, the platform is designed to help regulators, physicians, athletes, coaches, promoters, and sponsors operate on evidence rather than assumptions.
That matters at every level of the sport. A regulator needs cleaner visibility into athlete status. A physician needs a stronger evidence base when assessing readiness or risk. An athlete and coach need objective information on performance and recovery. A promoter or sponsor needs confidence that the competitive environment is being managed with discipline and proper documentation. M2Intel is being built to serve those needs within one commission-aligned system.
Mazzulli will advise the company on how the platform should operate in real commission environments, including medical review, suspensions, bout approvals, and record integrity across jurisdictions. His involvement strengthens M2MMA’s efforts to build infrastructure that aligns with regulatory realities and earns the trust of the people who rely on it.
Jeff Robinson, Chief Executive Officer of M2MMA Inc., stated:
“Michael has spent years inside the rooms where the hardest regulatory decisions get made. He knows what commissions will use because he has had to make those calls himself. That is why this appointment matters. M2Intel is not being built as a niche software tool. It is being built as core infrastructure for a regulated sport. AI gives us the ability to turn disconnected medical records and impact data into guidance people can act on in real time. If we help the industry make better decisions from better evidence, we improve safety, and we build a platform with real long-term value.”
Mazzulli commented:
“Combat sports have made real progress on regulation, but many oversight processes still rely on manual work and incomplete information. A platform like M2Intel is useful when it helps a regulator or physician see the full picture before a decision is made. If AI can organize medical history and exposure data in a way that supports sound judgment, it has a legitimate place in the sport. Used properly, that can improve consistency and strengthen athlete protection while preserving commission authority.”
